Reference App: Declarative Simulation
- worldsim-core (kernel + CLI)
- LawCards (cards, tools, tests)
- Spec (AST, LawCard, normalization profile)
Reproducibility via lockfiles (card IDs + SHA-256 + run metadata).
Get Started (bots & humans)
- Consume a LawCard JSON (with
equations[*].astin rg-ast/v1.2). - Validate against AST v1.2 and LawCard v0.2.
- Optionally run via worldsim-core.
Why LawCards?
- Verifiable: canonical AST + SHA-256, byte-stable IDs.
- Compositional: rules are data; engines or tools compose them.
- Portable: the same card can drive simulation, analysis, or policy checking.
- Auditable: units, invariants, provenance, and tests are first-class fields.
Conformance & Profiles
AST normalization profile v1.2 (piecewise, relations/logicals, elementary math) is recommended. Engines can declare supported features (e.g., piecewise, norm, min/max).
- Current AST: rg-ast/v1.2
- Current LawCard: v0.2
Beyond Simulation
Declarative Simulation is our first reference application. LawCards are domain-neutral: policy/contract checking, robotics safety gates, optimization constraints, ABM/econ rules, and data validation all fit the same “rules as data” model.
